I'm here to help give you the best boudoir experience imaginable. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions from clients. 

THE WOMEN ON YOUR WEBSITE LOOK LIKE MODELS. I CAN'T LOOK LIKE THAT!

Oh, if I had a dollar for every time I heard "I can't look like that!" All the women you see in our images are REAL women, just like you and me. They are stay-at-home moms, nurses, doctors, veterinarians, brides-to-be, etc. They are women on a weight loss journey, wanting to create a gift, wanting to prove to themselves that they are still sexy after having kiddos or looking for a self-confidence boost (and let me tell you—this ALWAYS happens—whether you are looking for it or not). There is no shape, size, or age that limits you from having a Boudoir Session. It is literally for every woman, and we firmly believe that every woman DESERVES to feel beautiful, sexy, confident, and empowered. 

I've heard everything from "I'm not pretty enough" to "I'm too fat," and we have no doubt that you can do this. Even if you've never done anything like boudoir photography before, we are here to make you feel comfortable every step of the way.

Ladies, you are enough; I promise you that. These sessions are all about loving yourself. Let me show you how beautiful you are, how gorgeous your body is, and how amazing you truly are! Boudoir does not have a specific size or look – it is for every woman. 

DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO POSE?

I will pose you from the tip of your toes to the way your hair lays. I will do all the hard work and help you from start to finish. You do not have to worry about a thing, and I promise we'll make your experience stress-free and empowering.  I know exactly how to pose all types of women to look their absolute best. I will direct you every step of the way, from helping you to prepare for your boudoir shoot with wardrobe and grooming tips, to posing every inch of your body, to coaching your breathing through the session. You just need to show up and TRUST ME.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

Yes! I offer pre-payment plans, which allow you to pre-pay for collections that unlock free bonuses (complimentary use of angel wings, robes discounts, etc.) I also accept PayPal credit as well as offer in-house, post-payment plans.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND?

You are welcome to bring a friend to your hair/makeup stylist's pre-session appointment if it makes you feel more comfortable. I do ask that the friend not interfere with the process or offer advice on how to style the client. Only one friend is allowed in the studio during the stylist's appointment, and she will need to wait outside when the photography session begins.  We do not allow men in the studio while shooting. That is a firm policy. 

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN OUTFITS FOR MY BOUDOIR SHOOT?

Yes, I recommend that you do bring 2 - 4 of your own outfits to the studio (depending on the session type). Please visit our What to wear page for ideas. 

WILL YOU POST MY BOUDOIR PHOTOS ON YOUR WEBSITE OR SOCIAL MEDIA?

No. Our client’s privacy is our number one priority. The clients you see have given us exclusive permission. Without your written consent, we will NEVER post your boudoir photos publicly. We understand the sensitive nature of boudoir photography and have the utmost respect for your wishes to keep them entirely private and secure.

HOW SOON WILL MY PHOTOS BE READY?

Your photo reveal appointment will be approximately 1 -2 weeks after your photo session, and your finished product (depending on what you order) will arrive up to 4 to 6 weeks after that.  Please schedule your appointment 8 weeks in advance keeping these times in mind. Also, rush fees will apply if the service is available at the time of request.

WILL YOU RETOUCH MY IMAGES?

Yes. I will retouch all of the images from your session. Every image includes our standard retouching: skin softening and the removal of temporary blemishes, scrapes, bruises, etc.  We will pose, light, and style you to flatter YOUR figure. Additional editing such as tattoo removal, tan line removal, clothing fix, etc. is available upon request for an additional fee. All images are retouched in-house personally by Lanett Franko to ensure privacy and quality.

DO YOU OFFER STYLED OUTDOOR, WATER, OR ON-LOCATION PHOTO SESSIONS?

We offer these sessions as an add-on to any Beauty & Boudoir Experience. Please contact us if you would like more information on our boudoir on-location, outdoor or water photoshoots—or choose the add-on to Beauty & Boudoir Experience when scheduling. 

DO I HAVE TO SHOW A LOT OF SKIN?

This is completely up to you! You can go super-sexy or more conservative—it’s entirely up to your comfort zone. Clients can pose in everything from lingerie, to a partner's favorite shirt, or a sexy dress—we can discuss any ideas of interest before your session. After all, it’s your boudoir photo shoot, and we want you to be completely comfortable and enjoy your session.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We ask that in order to be able to reschedule your boudoir shoot without losing your deposit/voucher or incurring an additional fee, you must reschedule 14 days prior to your scheduled shoot date, and you can only reschedule your session ONE TIME. You can reach out to us by using our online scheduling form or by contacting the studio by phone or email. We never make an exception for this policy as we have your makeup artist and photographer Lanett Franko booked and ready to accommodate you in advance. We truly appreciate your understanding.
